Shawn Kobetz is a born and raised New Yorker and son of an Israeli immigrant, who currently serves as the Partnerships Manager for Heritage of Pride aka NYC Pride where he manages over 170 community based and corporate partnerships. With a long history in fundraising and event planning stretching back to 2006, Shawn has a proven track record of bringing awareness and support to various causes, from the fight against cancer to the progression of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Prior to Heritage of Pride, he led the community-based events for the American Cancer Society in Manhattan, and spearheaded the society’s LGBTQIA programs for all five boroughs. When he is not event planning, he is on the microphone at Equinox leading cycling classes and Cycle for Survival rally rides across Manhattan. His personality, passion, and pride in being a gay man, transcends into everything he does with the goal of making the world a healthier and more inclusive place.
