Yoav Davis was born in Israel to a family of OLIM and grew up in South Africa and Israel.
Growing up in a observant household he studied in a Yeshiva.
From 2003-2006, Davis served in the Israeli Defense Forces as a 24/7 war-room manager, leading more than 20 soldiers in the high profile IDF Spokesperson Special Unit.
After he completed his army service Davis continued working in the media world. Starting his career in the TV industry as a researcher for various television production companies.
Davis graduated with honors from the I.D.C. School of Communications with a B.A. and a major in Media Marketing and Television Studies.
Over the years Davis worked as a Casting Director, Screenwriter, Content Editor, Story Producer, Showrunner and a creative director creating television formats that were sold throughout the world.
In 2012 Davis decided to take his creative storytelling abilities to the then new and upcoming digital world, establishing ‘Davis Media’: a Digital Media marketing-content agency located in the heart of NYC.
Davis is also a prominent member of the CBST (LGBTQ+ synagogue) community. Serving on their communications board and taking part in the world renowned CBST choir, singing in Hebrew, Yiddish, Ladino, German and more.
Through the years, Davis Media has created and managed content that has been viewed by millions of people, and continues to work with major brands such as Disney, Swarovski, WIX, AOL and more. Among the notable figures Davis has worked with directly are:
Caitlyn Jenner, Joan Rivers, J-wow, Chef Einat Admony, Pnina Tornai, and many more.
